Listen & Learn

In a previous career, I worked for a company that aspired to have a strong corporate culture by instituting a set of core values.  I was skeptical at first but must admit that the core values created a positive force for good.   A common language and set of behaviors were embraced, encouraged and rewarded within the organization.  It was a win-win for both employees and customers.

OnTrack Wealth Management has its own set of core values:

• INVEST IN RELATIONSHIPS
• EARN TRUST
• LISTEN & LEARN

The thing about core values is that you must live them for them to be worth the paper they are written on.   At OnTrack, we try hard to actualize our core values! Each week we have our L-10 meeting which is essentially an alignment meeting to address issues and make sure we are tracking against our quarterly and annual goals. In it, we discuss specific ways in which we are living by our core values each and every week.

Next week, we are living by our core value of LISTEN & LEARN by attending an event called Future Proof.  Some might say it’s a conference, but it has hallmarks of a professional festival.  In essence, it’s one of the biggest collaborations of wealth management professionals, experts in the markets, and world leaders in finance, coming together to learn and share knowledge.   We went in 2022 and loved it!  This year we plan to LISTEN & LEARN intently so that we can live by our core values and bring back more good ideas and knowledge for the benefit of our clients and company.
